This certification acknowledges our compliance with over 100 rigorous criteria covering office management, product range, international partnerships, and customer information. It also recognizes our long-term dedication to sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The Travelife Partner standard aligns with the ISO 26000 principles on social responsibility, encompassing key areas such as environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, human rights, and labour relations.
Travelife is the leading international sustainability certification program for the travel sector, supported by more than 35 national travel associations worldwide including ABTA (UK), ANVR (Netherlands), PATA (Asia), FTT (South Africa), SMAL (Finland), UHPA (Croatia), JARTA (Japan), and APAVT (Portugal).
This milestone reflects our continued effort to integrate sustainability into every aspect of our operations from office management and supplier collaborations to designing travel experiences that respect nature, culture, and communities.
TOURCERT
The independent certification organization TourCert advises and accompanies tourism businesses and destinations on their road towards sustainable and successful management. Whittalls Travels has held TourCert Qualified status, awarded following an internal self-assessment and a desktop review by TourCert. As part of this qualification, we maintain a sustainability improvement plan that is updated annually. Our current status can be verified on TourCert’s public register.
