Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), together with Edelweiss Air, recently celebrated the launch of direct flights between Colombo and Zurich at the Swiss Ambassador’s residence. The service will operate twice weekly, on Fridays and Sundays, using an Airbus A340 with a capacity of 314 passengers.
SWISS, the national carrier of Switzerland, and Edelweiss Air, its leisure subsidiary and a member of the Lufthansa Group, together operate 1,805 weekly flights to 155 destinations in 56 countries. The new route strengthens connectivity between Sri Lanka and Europe, offering passengers convenient access to Zurich and beyond.
